Hospitality never goes out of style!

My name is Esma and I have been working in Housekeeping at Fashion Hotel for over a year now. I am mainly deployed in the rooms. This means that we have to get the rooms completely spotless again in teams of 2 people. A guest should think that this room has never been rented out and the bed has not been slept in before. If we can get this done, we've done a good job. It is very nice that we do the rooms together. We always make the bed together and then one goes to work in the room and the other does the bathroom. In the next room we turn this around so that the work does not become monotonous.

Sometimes I also work in the morning shift, together we clean the Café-Restaurant and other public areas. The toilets are also part of this. Easy? No definitely not! It's hard work, but luckily we have a lot of fun together, so the day always flies by.

 

What makes you the perfect colleague?

  • Is your alarm clock set correctly? On weekdays you may already be on the schedule at 6.00 am, then you will work until approximately 2 pm. Sleeping in on the weekend? Unfortunately… then the first shift starts at 07:00.
  • Morning mood? We don't like that… Important to choose in the morning which leg you get out of bed with.
  • Flexible attitude is not only expected from you, but also from me. We would prefer to see you available for us 24 hours a day 7 days a week, it is no surprise that this will not work. It is nice if you can work a number of days during the week and at least 1 day at the weekend.
  • Working independently is important, but you must also be able to perform in a team.

We offer you a good hourly wage.

  • From 16/17 years €10,65*
  • From 18 years €12,43*
  • From 19/20 years €13,61*
  • From 21 years €14,34*

*Including vacation pay and vacation days, excluding tips.
