WestCord Hotels
Contrary to what the name might suggest, WestCord Hotels is a Dutch family-owned company, originally founded on Vlieland. In the 1960s, tourism on the Wadden Islands was growing, and in 1968, baker Emo Westers decided to buy Hotel de Wadden for his 18-year-old son Harry. This was the first WestCord Hotel.
Today, the WestCord family includes 15 hotels spread across the Netherlands. Most of our time is spent in our hotels, where we are constantly working on improvement and innovation. Each of our hotels is unique. In our vision, a hotel should be full-service, distinctive, and adapt to its surroundings. In addition to hotel guests, local residents and nearby businesses are warmly welcome to use all the hotel’s facilities. Our doors are wide open to everyone.
Passion and perseverance have given us the opportunity to expand our number of hotels over the years. Some real gems have been added along the way. We are proud of our professional management team and dedicated staff, who strive every day to make your stay unforgettable.
