In the centre of the heart! Positioned right at the ‘Grote Markt’, the beating heart of Groningen and where once great industalist Willem Albert Scholten lived, opened our beautiful hotel in May 2021. Our hotel with its impressive architecture and rich history is the place to be in Groningen! On the entire first floor guests can enjoy something tasty at any time of the day at our bakery Bakkerij Westers and restaraunt Café Willem Albertm so itt’s always bustling! This makes the hotel a real hotspot among the locals too.
Our hotel was designed by the same architect as that of Hotel Jakarta Amsterdam, so the interior is completely contemporary and very spectacular. There is also a lot of attention for sustainability with the use of sustainable materials. As a result, we have a strong total concept which has also been implemented in the rooms, the meeting rooms, the Wellcome Wellness and the gym. This makes us unique here in the North!
Our whole team is super proud of the hotel, which gives so much energy in the workplace and makes the hotel a very inspiring work environment. We are a close, diverse and dynamic team where everyone is valued and therefore feels right at home. How cool is it to work in such an inspiring environment? We're sure of it: nothing beats Groningen!
