The time has come, your internship is about to begin, and you’re searching for the placement of your dreams. Does an internship on Vlieland sound amazing to you? Are you looking for a role at the reception, in the kitchen, restaurant, or as a Duty Manager (for HBO students)? Then we are looking for you!

We are searching for enthusiastic students to join us at Hotel de Wadden! Someone who thrives on a busy evening and finds joy in happy guests. Someone who is the first to respond to the bell and ends the evening polishing the last glasses with a smile. Working with a fun team to give our guests a memorable experience, that’s what it’s all about!

It is also important to us that you have good command of both Dutch and English. A sense of responsibility and the ability to perform under pressure are essential qualities for this internship. In short: a true hospitality talent!

About Hotel de Wadden

Hotel de Wadden (3-star) is located in the historic Dorpsstraat of Oost-Vlieland. The building once housed the local maritime school. Today, this cozy and contemporary family hotel offers a warm and personal atmosphere.

At Hotel de Wadden, guests can enjoy delicious food in our restaurant, while just outside the door they’ll find lively terraces and charming shops. The hotel’s garden borders directly on the Wadden Sea, and the forests, dunes, and beach are all within walking distance.

Hotel de Wadden has three Food & Beverage outlets, offering you a great opportunity to learn during your internship:

Eetcafé ’t Praethuys – a warm and welcoming spot where guests can easily join at the bar or reading table.
Brasserie de Wadden – serving French-inspired cuisine.
ZeeVaert Bar & Pizzeria – offering fresh pizzas and Italian-inspired dishes.

As an intern, you will gain valuable experience and further develop your skills. We place high importance on training students, and if both sides are satisfied, we’ll also discuss the possibility of continuing your career with us after your internship.
