Your role as Housekeeping Manager
As Housekeeping Manager at WestCord Hotel Schylge, you will lead a team of approximately 15 colleagues of different ages and cultures. You know better than anyone how to motivate and train them to achieve the highest cleaning standards. You will manage daily operations, ensure that the hotel rooms look perfect, and keep a close eye on scheduling, recruitment, and human resources.
But you won't just be standing on the sidelines! You have extensive cleaning experience and will happily pick up a vacuum cleaner or make a bed when necessary. You are a true team player and ensure that everyone feels appreciated.
Working at Hotel Schylge
We have two hotels on Terschelling, which are very different from each other. You will be working at Hotel Schylge, located in the only natural bay in the Netherlands, and Hotel Boschrijck (the name says it all), located in the middle of the woods. Terschelling is a tourist island where there is always plenty to do. Perhaps you know it from the famous Oerol festival? If not, now might be the time to give it a try!
