Housekeeper

Full-time job as a Housekeeping Employee at a unique location, including options for meals and accommodation!

Are you accurate and do you have an eye for detail? Do you like achieving clear goals? And can you manage in cleaning both independently and as part of a team? From May onwards we are looking for someone who is ready for a new adventure on Vlieland, as a Housekeeping Employee.

The work mainly consists of cleaning the rooms. This means that we work in teams of two people to make the rooms completely spotless again. A guest should think that this room has never been rented before and that the bed has never been slept in. If we achieve this, then we have done a good job. It is very nice that we clean the rooms with two people; it is not for nothing that they say, “teamwork makes the dream work!” We always make the bed together, and afterwards one person starts working in the room while the other does the bathroom. In the next room we switch, so the work does not become monotonous. Morning shifts are also part of the job; together we then clean the public areas.

Easy? Certainly not! It is hard work, but luckily there is a lot of fun within the team, which makes the day always fly by. Will you soon join our cleaning team?

Working on Vlieland

On Vlieland, we have two hotels and a beach pavilion. Our family business started with Hotel de Wadden on Dorpsstraat, Strandhotel Seeduyn is located on the beach, and here you’ll also find the only large beach pavilion on the island, ‘t Badhuys. Vlieland is a tourist island with large white beaches and a cozy village, complete with plenty of pubs. In the summer, it’s often called "Vliebiza," and in winter, it’s mainly a place to enjoy the close-knit community spirit with your colleagues. Plus, Vlieland offers stunning nature.
