You will be working under the guidance of our International Chef, Tsvetin Atanasov. He cooks at a high level and places great importance on quality, creativity, and teamwork in the kitchen. Within the team, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility and showcase your own ideas and creativity. Our chef challenges you to bring out the best in yourself and collaborate on innovative dishes.

In our restaurant “Op West”, we cook in a fusion style: surprising, sometimes bold, and always international. Together, you will take every dish to the next level and create a unique experience for our guests. From mise and place to the final presentation on the plate, you feel at home in the kitchen and show your skills.

When you arrive, you immediately step into the dynamic atmosphere of the kitchen. You greet your colleagues, briefly connect with the bar and service team, and discuss the planning, special details, and any large groups with the chef. Then you get to work together: ensuring a smooth lunch service and preparing everything for a busy evening. In between, there is always room for a joke, a compliment, and a quick check to see if the guests are satisfied. Before you know it, your shift is over.

Working on Terschelling

You will be working at Hotel Schylge on Terschelling. Hotel Schylge is located in the only natural bay in the Netherlands. Terschelling is a tourist island with always something happening. Perhaps you know it from the famous festival Oerol? If not, this could be the perfect time to discover it! However, working at WestCord is not just about running and sweating during your shift.
