At Hotel Schylge, every day starts with a smile — and you are the first face our hotel guests see. As a host/hostess, you set the tone for their morning. With your welcoming attitude, eye for detail, and helpful nature, you can truly make someone’s day!
Your morning shift starts at 6:00 AM. You independently ensure that the breakfast buffet looks perfect and inviting. You are responsible for setting up the buffet as well as handling kitchen preparations. You refill coffee and fresh bread on time and make sure our guests can relax and enjoy their breakfast without worry.

The first guests arrive, and you greet them warmly:“Good morning! How was your stay?”
While guiding them to their table, you keep an eye on the buffet. You answer questions, refill items when needed, and have friendly conversations with guests. Maybe you’ll hear that someone is visiting Terschelling for the first time or celebrating a special occasion. That’s your moment to make their morning extra special!
After breakfast service, you clear the tables and refresh the buffet, ensuring everything is ready for the next busy morning shift at the hotel.
