Breakfast Chef

Are you a chef who enjoys variety? Do you like starting the day by preparing a delicious breakfast for guests, while on other days showcasing your culinary skills during dinner service? Then we are looking for you!
As a Breakfast Chef / Independent Chef, you'll alternate between breakfast and evening shifts. On some days, you'll be responsible for preparing and presenting a fresh, inviting breakfast. You'll ensure the breakfast buffet is fully stocked, prepare à la carte breakfast dishes, and leave the kitchen ready for your colleagues.
On other days, you'll work as an Independent Chef during dinner service. You'll be responsible for your own section in the kitchen, prepare the mise en place, and consistently deliver high-quality dishes with attention to detail and presentation.
The variety is what makes this role so enjoyable. No two weeks are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills across different areas of the kitchen. Together with a passionate team, you'll create memorable dining experiences for our guests, from their first cup of coffee in the morning to their final course at dinner.

- You can work independently while also being a strong team player.
- You have an eye for quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- You stay calm and organised during busy service.
- You have a good command of English and/or Dutch.
Working on Vlieland
On Vlieland, we have two hotels and a beach pavilion. Our family business originally started with Hotel de Wadden in the Dorpsstraat. Strandhotel Seeduyn is located directly on the beach, and it is also home to the island’s only large beach pavilion: ’t Badhuys. Vlieland is a tourist island with wide white beaches and a lively village with plenty of cosy bars. In summer, it’s sometimes called Vliebiza; in winter, it becomes a place where you can truly enjoy the close-knit, familiar atmosphere together with your colleagues. In addition, Vlieland offers beautiful natural surroundings.
