Front Office Supervisor

Hospitality never goes out of style!

I am Michel, Front Office Manager at the Fashion hotel. To complete our Fashion team, I am looking for a Front Office Supervisor who will coach and motivate 'our' team together with me.  During the morning shift you are mainly busy with check outs, answering the phone, and updating the mailbox, etc. In the afternoon, hotel guests arrive, so we we check them in and assist them where needed. In addition, we will work together on our objectives and procedures. The team at the reception consists of 2 supervisors, 2 guest success agents and then the rest of the team.

We are all individuals but we have one thing in common, hospitality is in our DNA! Together with the team, we set the tone in terms of service and quality level. I have heard the most demanding questions before and I always try to think along with the guest, so I help the guests with their luggage when I see that they are having a hard time, when necessary I order a taxi and there are many others of examples. We also work together with House of Hospitality, which focuses on educating students. Training and supervising students is an important task in this position.

What makes you the perfect colleague?
  • You don't mind working irregular shifts, so you are a morning / day / evening person. During the quiet times we also ask to work 2 night shifts every few weeks.
  • That you are available full-time.
  • We require a minimum of 2 years estimate as a receptionist in a hotel and if we can choose, preferably in a special experience hotel.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both in words and on paper.
  • I always make sure that I am representative, you can only make the first impression on a guest once.
  • Hospitality, a sense of commerce and resistance are self-evident to you.
