Full or part-time job as kitchen employee in a unique location, including board and lodging!

We are looking for nice people who want to work hard and have fun. Pop in during your holiday, weekend or regular fulltime on the always pleasant Terschelling!

Are you creative, a hard worker and a king or queen in the kitchen? Do you know how to prepare the tastiest dishes or do you want to contribute to this? Are you someone who finds happiness from satisfied guests and sees unsatisfied guests as a challenge? Someone who can work hard, but maintains a good attitude? Then we are looking for you!

From washing lettuce to grilling steaks and from slicing cucumbers to preparing beautiful creations on the plate, you feel at home in the kitchen and can show your skills here or you want to learn new ones!

When you arrive at work, you already encounter the cozy chaos. You greet your colleagues in the kitchen and wave to the staff at the busy bar. You discuss with the chef what still needs to be done with the mise en place. Are there still details to work out and will there be any large groups? The tasks are divided out. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the lunch services fly out the door and that everything is ready for another busy evening. In between, you make a joke with the dishwasher, compliment your colleague with a nice dish and ask the waiter if all guests are satisfied. Your shift is flying by. After your shift, have a cold drink and look out over the sea. Being a chef on an island isn’t so bad!

Working on Terschelling

You will be working in ApartHotel Boschrijck on Terschelling. ApartHotel Boschrijck (the name says it all) is located in the middle of the woods. It is a real family hotel with spacious apartments. Terschelling is a touristic island, where there is always plenty to do. Maybe you know it from the famous Oerol Festival? If not, then maybe now is the time to find out!

But… working with WestCord doesn’t mean all running and sweating during your shift. Because, besides a hard worker, we are looking for someone who will dive into the sea with us, someone who enjoys getting to know new people, spends free hours sunbathing or surfing on the beach, someone who wants to end the working day with a cozy drink or a campfire on the beach! Because in addition to being colleagues, we are also a real family at WestCord.

Requirements

• Hospitable, open and spontaneous: These are your qualities!
• Hospitality is not unknown to you: you have the work experience in the same function or you want to develop yourself within this department.
• You have a flexible attitude and not a 9 to 5 mentality.
• You are deployable part-time or fulltime.
• Together with your colleagues, you make every day a new adventure.
• This position is available immediately. You are deployable in the weekends, holiday periods or regular fulltime of course.

*Including holiday pay and vacation days, excluding tips.
